With the sound of sirens, on February 14th, the China-Europe train full of communication equipment, ATM machines, commodities, etc. manufactured by the workresumption enterprises in Guangdong- Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area was successfully dispatched from the international logistics base of Guangdong (Shilong) railway to vorsino station in Russia. This is the first China-Europe train departed from Guangdong after the Spring Festival, marking the resumption of normal operation of China-Europe train in Guangdong.

Pleasing Changes Emerged in the Work Resumption of Dongguan Enterprises
In recent days, in response to the urgent need to return to work and production, Dongguan has made every effort toprovide policies and practical measures to fully support enterprises to cope with the challenges of the epidemic and resume normal production. On February 7th, Dongguan Government published “15 Measures to Support Enterprises”; and since this Spring Festival, on-site service has become normalcy of works of relevant departments at all levels.
With policy support andexcellent service, since the resumption of work for more than 10 days, dividends had been gradually released, and some gratifying changes have gradually emerged: the power consumption of the enterprise was growing in a restorative way, the owner of the enterprise was still optimistic about the annual performance, and some enterprises investment even bucked the trend. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology predicted that the outbreak may also give birth to new industry formats.
According to the data of Dongguan Power Supply Bureau, from February 10th to 16th in the first week of Dongguan’s work resumption, the daily maximum load and power supply gradually increased, with the maximum increase of daily power consumption reaching 12%. It suggested that compared with that of the Spring Festival, the power consumption has recovering growth, and Dongguan enterprises have stepped up the pace of production.
Dongguan Lung Cheong Digital Technology Co., Ltd. is a Hong Kong funded enterprise that produces intelligent electronic products. In the face of theoutbreak, GuoZhuxiong, general manager of the company, was still optimistic about the performance of the whole year: “Many overseas customers know about the domestic outbreak situation and all expressed their support to our company.”
Some Hong Kong-funded enterprise not only had resumed works andproduction, but also increased investment. On February 13th, Hong Kong Tai Hing Group Holding Ltd. Announced to increased investment of HKD90 million on the second day of work resumption to expand the production and increase product research and development in Chashan Town, Dongguan. Yao Min, director and general manager of Tai Hing Worldwide Development Limited, said: “The reason we increased investment is that we have confident in Chashan Town and Dongguan City.”
Once machinesring, the world stops panicking.Liu Jintang, deputy director ofIndustry and Information Technology Bureau of Dongguan City, predicted that the outbreak would have a certain impact on Dongguan’s industrial growth in the first half of this year, especially in the first quarter.But in the long run, the fundamentals of Dongguan’s long-term good trend and high-quality economic growth will not be shaken. Liu Jintang suggested that the outbreak might create new industry format or conceive new market opportunity; and the consumption and investment delayed in the early stage would be released, and the industrial economy would show compensatory growth.
