Dongguan Investment Attraction Mobilization Conferencewas held in the morning of February 7. With the theme of “Dongguan marches forward courageously to attract investments”, the Conferencewas a re-mobilization, re-deployment and re-promotion of investment attraction for the whole city. Xiao Yafei, secretary of the municipal Party, attended and addressed the Conference. Lyu Chengxi, deputy secretary of the municipal Party and mayor, delivered a speech on deployment. Liu Guangbin, standing committee member of municipal people’s congress and deputy mayor, chaired the Meeting. About 200 people attended the Conference, including cadres Luo Zhaoqun, Zheng Jianmin, Liu Wei, Xing Wenjyu, as representatives from relevant municipal government authorities, municipal state-owned enterprises, towns and sub-districts (parks).
According to Xiao Yafei, investment attraction is of extreme significance for Dongguan. Departments at all levels must work promptly with the style of "fast and rigorous." We should set up our goals and missions and launch a new wave of "extensive investment promotion and large and renowned enterprise attraction" in no delay, so as to provide strong support for Dongguan’s acceleration of high-quality development. We should learn from our forefathers and reignite the passion of attracting investment in those years, inheriting and carrying forward the fine tradition of attracting investment in Dongguan. We must spare no efforts and take the lead to attract large and renowned enterprises to Dongguan. The whole city will set off a new round of extensive investment promotion. Officials of towns, villages, authorities and state-owned enterprises should dare to compete with advanced standards, take the lead to speed up the work pattern of "extensive investment promotion and large enterprise attraction" with eagerness, enthusiasm and professionalism. We should integrate our resources and make every effort to attract large and renowned businesses. We need to prepare for a number of large projects, attract a batch of chain-leader enterprises and headquarters enterprises, and build a number of high-level modern industrial parks. Relying on the basic advantages of industries, we will carry out investment attraction covering industrial chains and vigorously attract high-growth specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products. A reward and punishment mechanism should be established to fully mobilize the initiative of all authorities at all levels. It is necessary to strengthen our confidence and inspire our commitment of investment attraction. The whole city has strengthened our confidence and determination to seize opportunities, attract projects and participate in negotiation. We will work in full sail without delay, work hard and practically, in a bid to attract more and more large and good projects.
According to Lyu Chengxi, the year 2023 is named the year of investment attraction by the municipal Party Committee. Investment attraction is an important measure to promote high-quality development in Dongguan. Lyu mobilized the whole city to make determination and spare no effort to attract large enterprises, creating a work pattern of extensive investment attraction. We should introduce high-quality industries so as to create our new momentum and advantages.
Lyu also required that we must insist on attracting high-quality enterprises and projects in a professional, accurate and market-oriented manner. Authorities at all levels should cooperate effectively with each other to accelerate the extensive investment attraction. We must guarantee whole-process and whole-chain services to build the golden brand of citywide investment attraction and services. Eventually, investment attraction will be upsurging and project construction will development in full swing all around Dongguan.
During the Conference, representatives from Songshan Lake Development Zone, Waterfront Zone (Hongmei), Binhaiwan Bay Area, Yinping Economic Zone, Tangxia Town, Shatian Town and Dongguan Financial Holdings obtained investment attraction orders and mission flags. Representatives from Songshan Lake Development Zone, Waterfront Zone (Hongmei), Binhaiwan Bay Area, Yinping Economic Zone, Tangxia Town, Shatian Town, Dongguan Financial Holdings and World Dongguan Entrepreneurs Association made statements during the Conference.
100-Teams and 1000- Headquarters Investigation

We will visit World Top 500 enterprises, China Top 500 enterprises, Top 10 enterprises of each industry, china-leaders, national Little Giants, provincial specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, listed enterprises and those to be listed, state or provincial high-tech enterprises, and introduce Dongguan to other advanced regions all over the world.
