Recently, Dongguan New-type Industrial Space Investment Attraction and Operation Conference was held to study and analyze the investment attraction and operation of new-type industrial space in the whole city, exchange good experiences and practices, and promote the quality and efficiency of new-type industrial space investment attraction and operation in Dongguan.

During the meeting, Dongguan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology made a report, which shows that Dongguan has always been attaching great importance to the development and utilization of new-type industrial space, and has successively formulated and issued policies for new-type industrial space, such as the municipal industrial transformation and upgrading base, new-type industrial land (M0), scientific and technological enterprise incubators, and industrial transformation M1. Beneficial exploration and obvious results have been achieved. Songshan Lake Intelligent Valley and Tian’an Cyber Park have become models of "bringing industrial enterprises to offices" and "industry-city integration". Guangda Manufacturing Intelligent Valley and Sunhome Bay Area Wisdom Valley have become models for the transformation of industrial agglomeration areas in villages and towns.
Up to now, the new-type industrial space included in the statistics of the city boasts a building area of about 15.53 million square meters. Through the preliminary investigation, interview of some new industrial space platform projects and analysis of statistical data, it is known that the investment attracting and operation of new industrial space platform projects in Dongguan is relatively difficult.

According to the requirements of the Three-Year Action Plan for Quality and Efficiency Improvement in Industrial Parks in Towns and Villagesof Dongguan (2023-2025), Dongguan Association for Industrial Parks was officially approved for establishment in September 2023. The purpose of the Association is to assist competent authorities in carrying out special research, to provide policy publicity, training and investment promotion, etc., to build a pool of resources for park service institutions, to optimize land use space, to promote the integration and optimization of industrial parks, to transform and upgrade industrial parks in towns and villages, to create a new pattern of park development with industrial agglomeration, great economic contribution, strong innovation ability, excellent management services and comprehensive management.
Lin Jiang, professor of Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University, believes that the establishment of Dongguan Association for Industrial Parks under the background of the coordinated development of industrial parks in towns and villages will help to find the model and breakthrough of collaborative cooperation.
"The Association can be a good 'researcher', starting from in-depth research, using new methods and new thinking. The key is to 'solve the problem' for the coordinated development of industrial parks in towns and villages, and then explore the development road map." Lin Jiang said.
Dongguan Association for Industrial Parks will adhere to a systematic concept and problem orientation, with the overall goal of improving quality and efficiency of industrial parks in town and village, and focuse on solving problems such as scattered space, low-end industry, inefficient output, extensive management, and difficult investment promotion. In the 2023 Government Work Report, Dongguan proposed to build a characteristic commodity trading platform and promote the construction of electronic components distribution and distribution centers. Seeing the potential of Fenggang as the world-class advanced manufacturing industry cluster of electronic information, the Greater Bay Area International Electronics Center, with Tianan Shenchuanggu and JD Specialized and Sophisticated Park as the main carriers, has settled in Yantian, Fenggang.
First of all, Shenzhen Huaqiang North, China’s First Electronics Street, add radiance to each other.
