Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (“MITT”) announced the list of the sixth batch of specialized and sophisticated “Little Giant” enterprises, as well as the third batch for re-evaluation. Guangdong Peak Precision Technology Co., Ltd., based in Dongkeng Town, has successfully made the list.
Guangdong Peak Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (“Peak Technology”) is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in research, development, production, and sales of high-performance protective films, special labels, and precision die-cut parts. Recognized by the Guangdong Plastics Industry Association as one of the top three in its niche sector nationally and the top two in Guangdong Province, Peak Technology is known as a specialized and sophisticated enterprise in Guangdong, and a high-growth enterprise and a listed company in reserve in Dongguan. In 2022, Peak Technology achieved an industrial output value of 261 million yuan, which increased to 334 million yuan in 2023, marking a year-on-year growth of 27.7%. This year, with a growth rate of 9.4%, its industrial output value from January to August has exceeded 220 million yuan.

Since last year, the company has expanded its production line for power battery die-cut parts and invested in new equipment. Chen Shenghong, the technical director, stated that the new production line has significantly alleviated production pressure and enhanced capacity.
The production workshop at Peak Technology is a hive of activity. In recent years, Peak Technology has invested heavily in acquiring and upgrading machinery to meet process requirements, and is now fully committed to achieving production automation.
Besides equipment, human resources are also crucial. Peak Technology places great emphasis on technological advancement, investing 3%-5% of its budget annually into R&D. It has established an internal R&D laboratory, and actively engages in industry-university-research collaborations, including setting up a joint laboratory with the Wuxi New Materials Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology and advancing an internship program with Dongguan University of Technology to nurture talents. Currently, Peak Technology holds 46 authorized patents, including 16 invention patents and 30 utility model patents, forming a core technology system.
