"This year, the 'circle of friends' of cross-border e-commerce exports has been wider, from the main export destinations in the past to Europe and the United States to Southeast Asia and even further Africa. At the same time, last year, the 'four little dragons' of cross-border e-commerce going overseas began to conduct business in the customs area, and textile, footwear and hat products also saw a significant increase. Xu Ying, deputy director of the Port Supervision Department of Huangpu Customs, introduced.

In order to support cross-border e-commerce to go out to sea efficiently, the Whampoa Customs has taken the initiative to innovate the supervision model and carry out a pilot “first inspection and then shipment” for cross-border e-commerce exports in the customs area according to the actual needs of enterprises.   The goods are loaded in the warehouse and the customs declaration work is completed at the same time, upgrading the operating process of both sides of the customs enterprise from "serial" to“Parallel", customs supervision is seamlessly embedded in all aspects of E-commerce enterprises' “order generation, warehousing and logistics, declaration and customs clearance”, while relying on non-intrusive equipment,   information networking verification and other means to ensure the effectiveness of supervision, cross-border e-commerce commodity exports have been reduced from the first 4 hours of customs clearance to the fastest “read seconds” customs clearance.  , to achieve “manageable and fast communication".

In addition to logistics efficiency, returns are another important service for the platform to protect consumer rights. The smooth return process provides consumers with a convenient shopping experience, establishes a good brand image and international market reputation, and will increase user stickiness.Huangpu Customs focuses on the strong return demand of enterprises, improves the service chain of cross-border e-commerce commodity returns, implements convenient measures such as cross-customs returns, guides enterprises to improve the return process monitoring system and commodity traceability system, and strengthens supervision through the linkage of "bayonet management, document review, and physical goods supervision" to achieve "zero delay" in customs clearance, and effectively guarantees that global consumers "buy with confidence", domestic merchants "sell with confidence", and enterprises have smooth access channels.Since the beginning of this year, as of November 20, the number of export return packages for cross-border e-commerce under the supervision of Huangpu Customs has exceeded 100,000, setting a new record.
