The shoe company is Dongguan Owens Shoe Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Owens Shoe"), located in Baotun Community, Houjie Town. According to Jiang Yuanyong, the casual shoes worn by Musk are multifunctional hands-free shoes, convenient and comfortable.
At the beginning of the Year of the Snake, Jiang Yuanyong and his team have developed and designed another style of slip-ons with elements of the Year of the Snake. “This is the 2.0 version of the shoes wore by Elon Musk, and there are obvious differences in appearance.” Jiang introduced that the 2.0 version slip-ons not only integrate traditional culture with modern technology, but also adopt an integrated molding technology for the sole. They are simple and elegant in appearance, and can bring comfortable and stable feelings to users.
It is known that the newly-developed slip-ons can maintain their shape without deformation after 30,000 compression tests, with only 1mm of deviation. “This means that no matter how heavy you’re, the shoes can automatically shape based on your weight and provide perfect fit. They not only solve issues of deformation and collapse in traditional footwear but also eliminate the need to bend over and tie laces.”

“This year, we will launch the new style on the market, allowing consumers nationwide to experience the convenience and comfort of our hands-free shoes,” stated Jiang Yuanyong. He emphasized his team’s commitment to achieving a good start. The new style will debut through product release events in Dongguan in March and Shanghai in July as part of market expansion efforts of the company.
