On April 23, at the 2025 Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Industry High-Quality Development Conference, over a dozen AI enterprises showcased cutting-edge technologies and products, transforming the venue into a futuristic landscape brimming with innovation.
A smart world of Internet of Everything
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the…of them all.”
This whimsical line from childhood fairy tales has now become reality. The AI Magic Mirror developed by 3E Electronics drew widespread attention upon its debut. Crafted by a doctoral team from Ivy League universities and integrating advanced achievements from the Oxford Center for Children’s Technological Competency Development, the product leverages state-of-the-art AIGC (AI-generated content) capabilities to deliver a revolutionary smart interaction experience to users.
“Pika, please tell me what features this smartwatch has?” At the exhibition, Zhang Qingbin, a R&D engineer of 3E Electronics, demonstrated the mirror’s magic. Simply wake up the Mirror with the keyword “Pika,” snap a photo of an object, and it swiftly identifies the item, providing detailed explanations through clear, natural voice responses. This seamless process turns complex knowledge queries into effortless, engaging interactions.
Designed primarily for children aged 3-8, the product’s versatility shines across diverse scenarios. During outdoor exploration, it serves as a knowledgeable guide; in reading sessions, it transforms into an animated companion; for daily inquiries, it becomes an all-knowing encyclopedia; and in language learning, it acts as a professional tutor. “Our goal is to ignite children’s passion for actively exploring the world, answer their endless stream of ‘whys’ and ‘hows,’ and make learning a joyful, curiosity-driven journey,” said Zhang. This philosophy not only underpins the product’s design but also reflects an innovative vision for future education.
The allure of AI extends far beyond childhood development, permeating every corner of daily life for people of all ages. At the event, smart products from various fields dazzled attendees, painting a vivid portrait of an intelligently interconnected future.
The AITO M8, equipped with the HarmonyOS smart cockpit, breaks down barriers between devices, enabling seamless connectivity between cars, smartphones, smart home systems, and wearable devices. With a simple touch, users can remotely activate home air conditioning, receive health monitoring data during drives, and effortlessly switch between travel and daily life scenarios, realizing a truly borderless “human-vehicle-home” ecosystem.
OPPO’s product lineup also captivated audiences. The Find N5 foldable phone redefines portability and large-screen balance through innovative design. The Find X8 Ultra delivers pocket-sized professional photography with exceptional imaging capabilities. The Watch X2 Mini acts as a health guardian on the wrist, safeguarding users’ daily routines through precise monitoring. Each product exemplifies the deep integration of AI and industrial design.
For those struggling with sleep, DeRUCCI offers an AI-powered solution. In the home wellness sector, DeRUCCI’s 9th Generation Ai smart mattress, built on the DeRUCCI Tidal Algorithm 2.0 and data models from millions of ergonomic studies, uses 23 flexible sensors to accurately detect users’ sleeping postures within 20 seconds, adjust support parameters, and provide comprehensive sleep monitoring and nightly reports. “By real-time tracking of body posture and sleep states, the mattress intelligently adjusts firmness to accelerate falling asleep, reduce tossing frequency, and extend deep sleep duration. This highly personalized customization ensures accurate health assessments and elevates sleep quality, helping consumers sleep better and healthier.”
Intelligent transformation empowers new management paradigms
AI digital human technology is now transcending traditional interaction boundaries, becoming a core driver of consumer experiences and operational efficiency in retail.
At the exhibition, Meiyijia, a retail innovation pioneer, showcased its “people-goods-environment” end-to-end intelligent upgrades. Leveraging digital clerk “Xiao Mei,” smart energy-saving modules, and shelf marketing solutions, the brand demonstrated AI’s potential to enhance consumer experiences, optimize store management, and generate societal value.
“By integrating multi-modal perception, large models, and intelligent algorithms, convenience stores can now offer personalized customer greetings, product guidance, and emotional interactions, significantly boosting operational efficiency. At present, one employee can efficiently manage three to four unmanned stores, truly reducing costs and boosting efficiency,” said a company executive.
The event gathered global AI industry leaders, including Huawei, OPPO, DeRUCCI, China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Apollo Go, OPT, Meiyijia, Keenluk Technology, and Shunli Intelligence. Multiple product launched during the exhibition, which became a stage for the collision of technology and innovation, with cutting-edge advancements unveiled one after another. Five meticulously curated zones, whole-body, whole-home, whole-vehicle, government-digital, and whole-store exhibits, acted as gateways to a future intelligent lifestyle, showcasing how AI is reshaping every detail of life across all dimensions.
Visitors not only witnessed firsthand the allure of cutting-edge technology but also deeply felt the convenience and wonder it brings to daily life. Ms. Chen, an attendee who participated in on-site interactive experiences, shared, “At this exhibition, I visited over a dozen booths and experienced AI applications across various fields, from smart products in daily life to transportation and government services. This wasn’t just an accumulation of knowledge. It was a feast of future technology.”
