On July 21, the Special Session on Innovative Methodology Promotion: Empowering Industrial Workers with New Technologies and Methods, Igniting Corporate Innovation Vitality took place in the lecture hall of Dongguan Science Museum. As one of the activities supported by the special fund for science popularization in Dongguan, the event was guided by the Dongguan Association for Science and Technology, organized by the Dongguan Innovation Methodology Research Association, and co-hosted by Dongguan Association for Science and Technology Development Center, Dongguan Computer Center, Dongguan Green Building Association, Guangxi Chamber of Commerce in Dongguan, Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Dongguan, and Maoming Chamber of Commerce in Dongguan. Nearly 200 representatives from enterprises and institutions explored the AI-powered future of office work.
The training featured a special session titled DeepSeek Leads Transformation: Intelligent Office Application Training led by Wu Beihu, an authoritative expert in artificial intelligence. In his opening speech, he emphasized, ”Mastering intelligent tools marks the starting point of transforming repetitive labor into creative work.”
As a pioneer in AI education, Wu Beihu, a Tsinghua University graduate, currently serves as Director of Talent Training Center of Guangdong Tsingda Innovation Research Institute. He is the author of China’s first AI general education textbook, General AI: Fundamental Concepts and Applications of Artificial Intelligence (Tsinghua University Press). Holding multiple national credentials, Wu is a state-certified Senior Evaluator for AI Trainers, an SYB Entrepreneurship Training Mentor, a Senior E-Commerce Specialist, and an expert in Guangdong’s vocational skill development (toy design, e-store art) and AIGC role development. He wields significant influence in AI technology promotion and industry-education integration.
The training established a complete system of "theoretical foundations - skill enhancement - practical application - certification empowerment". Began with foundational AI knowledge, trainees systematically studied technical principles and industry trends, mastered core command design techniques for efficient AI dialogue through specialized prompt engineering training, and engaged in hands-on exercises including copywriting and AI keyword optimization. The immersive learning model significantly enhanced participants’ practical capabilities in product design, marketing, and project management.
The training marks a critical step in Dongguan’s cultivation of AI application talents. With the upcoming implementation of a certification system, DeepSeek’s technology will deeply integrate into the local industrial ecosystem, accelerating the upgrade of intelligent manufacturing in the Greater Bay Area.
