Recently, Dalingshan Town held a project cooperation signing ceremony for the High-quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages (hereinafter referred to the “High-quality Development Project”). Fourteen supporting enterprises, four planning and design institutes, and expert advisory teams gathered to sign 23 high-quality cooperation projects, with a total investment exceeding RMB 130 million. This has injected strong momentum into achieving initial results within three years for Dalingshan Town's High-quality Development Project.
At the ceremony, attendees first watched a video release on enterprises supporting Dalingshan's High-quality Development Project, gaining a direct understanding of the integration between central state-owned enterprises’ capabilities and the town’s development vitality. Subsequently, representatives from China Construction Fourth Engineering Division First Construction Co., Ltd. and the Guangzhou Urban Planning & Design Survey Research Institute delivered speeches, sharing insights on supporting Dalingshan’s development from the perspectives of construction practices and scientific planning.
It is reported that in recent years, Dalingshan has prioritized the High-quality Development Project as its top initiative, advancing over 120 projects with a total investment exceeding RMB 70 million. This has led to significant improvements in the town’s economy, rural environment, and living standards.
Under the High-quality Development Project, 14 enterprises have participated in supporting Dalingshan to promote the implementation of 23 projects with a total contracted value of approximately RMB 130 million. These projects span multiple sectors, including infrastructure construction, ecological protection and restoration, urban landscape enhancement, traffic optimization, commercial and cultural tourism, and power grid upgrades.
In the fields of infrastructure and urban landscape, China Construction Fourth Engineering Division First Construction Co., Ltd. participated in projects such as the Roast Goose Street in Ailingkan Village and the greenery upgrade of the square in front of the town government. China Construction Sixth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. advanced projects including the Urban Reception Hall and the upgrade of the town library’s picture book gallery.
In terms of ecological protection, China Energy Engineering Group Southern Construction & Investment Co., Ltd. and China Railway 15th Bureau Group Corporation Limited contributed to water ecological protection and restoration, metro station transportation connectivity, and environmental improvement projects.
In the commercial and cultural tourism sector, Huaxi Shanjian (Guangdong) Investment and Construction Co., Ltd. developed the Time Alley leisure market project in Jichiling Village. Additionally, Dongguan Southern Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd. implemented a demonstration project for a flexible interconnected village-level autonomous power distribution network in Jichiling Village, supporting local grid upgrades. These projects collectively enhance Dalingshan’s urban and rural quality and promote sustainable development across multiple dimensions.
The 23 projects signed this time reflect enterprises’ recognition of Dalingshan’s development prospects and will further enhance the quality and efficiency of achieving “initial results within three years”. It is reported that Dalingshan has planned a project library for the High-quality Development Project, covering short, medium, and long-term initiatives. The 165 projects span infrastructure, urban village renovation, cultural and tourism development, and public services. Key projects, such as the urban village renovation around the Great Bay University and the cultural and tourism development around the Tongsha Zone, are expected to unleash significant development potential.
During the core segment of the ceremony, senior leaders of Dalingshan Town first signed project cooperation agreements with representatives from 11 enterprises on behalf of the Dalingshan Town Government. Subsequently, they signed strategic cooperation framework agreements (letters of intent) with three prospective enterprises and issued appointment certificates for the High-quality Development Project to four planning institutes and one expert advisor. It swiftly established a dual-support system of a “construction team + think tank”, which was met with continuous applause.
It is known that this signing ceremony is not the end but a new starting point for the deepened advancement of Dalingshan’s High-quality Development Project. In addition to major projects, the 165-project library planned by Dalingshan includes public welfare initiatives such as multi-story parking garages, smart parking facilities in villages, and improvements to the rural living environment. These efforts will continue to drive urban-rural integration, industrial upgrading, and ecological optimization.
