http://www.timedg.com/ KYOCERA Document Technology (Dongguan) Co. Ltd. (hereinafter “KYOCEA Document”) has seen its OPC drum capital-increase project being completed and put into operation; Dongguan Jinwei Beverage & Food Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Jinwei”) is launching two capital-expansion projects; TAMURA KAKEN (DONGGUAN) LTD. (hereinafter “TAMURA KAKEN”) plans to invest more in a new fine chemicals-manufacturing project for the electronics industry.
As the reporter has learned yesterday from Shilong, Shijie and other towns in Dongguan, many municipal and township pilots of the Multiplication Program have continued to increase in the City by launching capital-expansion projects to boost production capacity.
Trends
KYOCEA’s new project basically realized automation
The reporter learned yesterday that the new OPC drum factory of KYOCEA, an honorary pilot of Dongguan’s Multiplication Program, has been fully completed. Mr. Goro Yamaguchi, President of the KYOCEA Corporation, started the equipment developed by KYOCERA Document Solutions to manufacture OPC drums, signifying that the OPC drum project has been completed and went into operation.
KYOCERA Document ’s main business includes the production and sale of digital copiers, laser printers, other office equipment and parts thereof. The new OPC drum plant, the 10th factory building of KYOCEA Document, is a three-storey building, said Mr. Susumu Komaki, President of KYOCERA Document Technology (Dongguan) Co. Ltd.
It is worth noting that the new workshop, equipped with the production equipment developed by KYOCERA Document Solutions, achieved automatic production in virtually all processes. The number of operators has thus been reduced dramatically. With the operation of the new OPC premises, KYOCERA Document would be able to increase its OPC drum production by 2.5 times. It is predicted that by 2021, the OPC drum factory would increase it sales revenue by 1.7 times.
According to information, after the new OPC drum project went into operation, the annual output of OPC drums is expected to increase to 23.4 million pieces from 13.8 million pieces now. As a result, annual sales value of KYOCERA is anticipated to increase by 300 million RMB.
Efforts
Jinwei is estimated to increase its annual output value by 400 million RMB
Meanwhile, in Shilong Town, the capital expansion project of Jinwei Beverage which is another pilot of Dongguan’s Multiplication Program, is in full swing. Jinwei is a food enterprise specialized in developing and producing fermented lactobacillus beverage products.
To boost its production capacity, Jinwei is currently expanding existing factory buildings while simultaneously constructing new ones. Its second branch project, being under construction in Huangzhou district, has a planned construction area of 8,200 sqm. Three automatic lactobacillus production lines have been planned with a daily capacity of 40,000 boxes and annual output value of 400 million RMB. The new branch is anticipated to go into operation in the latter half of this year. Meanwhile, Jinwei intends to launch the “long shelf-life lactobacillus drinks automation renovation project”, which can increase the Company’s capacity by 35%.
Also in Shijie town, TAMURA KAKEN, a municipal collaborative pilot and Shijie-based pilot of the Multiplication Program, intends to start a capital-expansion project to increase production. TAMURA KAKEN which mainly develops and sells chemical materials for the electronics sector, is an important production base of chemical materials for TAMURA Group. As Mr. Naoki Tamura, President of TAMURA Group has revealed in Shijie, this year, the Company will continue to invest in a new fine chemicals project for the electronics industry – precision insulating materials for making multilayer high-density circuit boards. With an estimated investment of 17 million RMB, this Project is anticipated to increase the Company’s output value by 30 million RMB.
According to Naoki Tamura, the workshop for the Project has now been properly reconstructed and necessary equipment has been put in place step by step. He is very optimistic about the development prospects of Shijie and the Company will continue to grow there.
