A few days ago, Hong Fangzhi, customs manager of Lee & Man Paper Manufacturing Limited, issued an application at home for the extension of the H2010 electronic manual through the "Internet + Customs" service platform. Only 3 minutes later, he received a receipt from the customs. The company's manual was approved for an extension of 3 months. Up to now, Dongguan Customs has approved the extension of manuals for 227 processing trade enterprises affected by the epidemic.

Based on the 20 measures issued by Huangpu Customs to help enterprises resume work and production, and considering the conditions of local enterprises, Dongguan Customs further issued 16 measures. Simplifying the formalities and speeding up the approval of extension for processing trade industry is one of these measures.

The 16 measures cover seven aspects, including supporting the import of urgently needed materials for epidemic prevention and control, supporting businesses in export expansion, optimizing the customs clearance supervision model, simplifying formalities for processing trade enterprises, optimizing operations of enterprise certification and verification, supporting e-commerce enterprises to resume operation and production, and providing services for enterprises online.

To guarantee the fast customs clearance of goods, Dongguan Customs provides 24-hour appointment customs clearance services, responding to the needs of enterprises in a timely manner. In the case of customs inspection, the consignee and consignor can be absent from the inspection site. Dongguan Customs will continue to open green channels for anti-epidemic supplies and their raw materials, and will release them directly. In special cases, these supplies can be registered and released first, and go through the formalities later. From January 23 to February 24, Dongguan Customs fast cleared a total of 94 batches of supplies for the prevention and control of COVID-19, valued at RMB 10.2 million.
